I spent the day with my family, since available time spent with family becomes more obscure the older I get. Since I’m a Colorado native it was easy for my family to come visit for the day. In the afternoon, I arrived with the rest of the group to our host house for the night. The family invited their friends over to hear about Lifebread and we gave our presentation. Immediately following, we hurried over to Littleton Church of Christ to do another presentation to their youth group. It was by far our largest group yet, which was particularly special for me having my family there as well. After the event, the group was invited to Chic-fil-A where we all mingled and talked for a while. The interns (Tom and Katie) made such good connections that they even hung out with some of the kids from the group after Chic-fil-A. As for the older crew, we went back to the host house and crashed. In the morning we start our journey to Texas. Here’s to another long drive with a Wal-Mart supercenter at the end of the rainbow…
