Our host family, the Stewart’s, made us a wonderful breakfast burritos to send us on our way. As we drove back to Colorado Springs we stopped for a group picture overlooking Pikes Peak and met an interesting RV couple. I don’t think I could do this as a way of life. We then went to Garden of the Gods and took a walk around the most magnificent rock formations. I forget how beautiful Colorado is from time to time. Thanks for the reminder God, I needed it. After a lunch at the Pita Pit in Colorado Springs we were back on the open road. Our only stops were at the state signs for New Mexico and Texas. Hooray for Marv making it through 3 states in one day. Now Marv rests in a Wal-Mart parking lot until we press on for Dallas in the morning. Here’s to a busy busy day tomorrow…
